This is an "OMG" level of German street food Biergarten/Restaurant in the Bywater of NOLA. As authentic as you will get in this region. It earned 5 stars from me due to my comparison of all other German food I've had in the past which is limited. The Chef or Mgmt has has put effort into this thing. Menu & bier on tap is top notch for New Orleans!

1St time and had the Berliner Sandwich and a 1/2 liter of dark beer for lunch with a side of sauerkraut. It is worth the visit. I lived in Sheboygan, WI the Brat capital of the USA, and have not had anything that rivals this until now. The Side of Sauerkraut is excellent and the best I have had in the USA. Bratz is the closest you'll get to Germany without leaving NOLA! Very authentic Biergarten with everything you'd expect, including several German beers on tap, delicious German plates, pretzels, Black Forest desserts, etc., all served in a cozy dining room or expansive garden with plenty of tables to allow you to spread out and feast in comfort...

Must be my tenth visit and each time I've had fun . Live music on the Thursday night was enjoyable, beer ice cold and food delicious each time . True New Orleans experience, you want to feel the "big easy" this is a must . Patio so lade back , relaxing time from the hustle of a big city. Staff masked following all guidelines...

Every time we come here the experience is great! The people are very friendly, and they have great live music, which is a rarity in our COVID world! We will keep coming back until we're old and gray! In fact, we're here today because this is the place our youngest son wanted to go to for his 14th birthday!! Thank you, Bratz Y'all, fir giving us a great family experience!!
